Description
BlackHawk
BlackHawk is a cool web browser based on Chromium. If you’re used to Google Chrome, you’ll find it easy to get the hang of BlackHawk. It has tabbed browsing, extensions support, and developer tools that make browsing pretty smooth.
Features of BlackHawk
This browser lets you show the current page in an Internet Explorer-based tab and check out page ranks. You can access these features through two handy icons near the search bar. Plus, if you log in with your Gmail account, all your Chrome settings will automatically pop into BlackHawk. How neat is that?
Extension Compatibility
Now, here’s a little downside: BlackHawk doesn’t come with its own extensions but supports those made for Google Chrome. We tested its speed while navigating and honestly, we didn’t notice any major differences from Google Chrome.
Error Notifications
We did run into some error messages when trying to install certain extensions in this browser. So, keep that in mind if you plan on using lots of add-ons.
Performance and Help Resources
When it comes to performance, BlackHawk uses a moderate amount of CPU and system memory—nothing too different from Chrome or Firefox there. It has a good response time which makes browsing feel quick! There’s also a short help file included for those who might be new to this kind of software.
A Worthwhile Alternative
While BlackHawk may not be the top contender among web browsers out there, it’s still worth checking out if you're looking for something different. If you're curious about trying it out, download BlackHawk here!
