In a world where consumerism emphasizes a constant increase, using physical mediums for transferring information, such as paper, minimizing waste and improving productivity is a noble goal. Those who are working with large volumes of printed data surely struggle when it comes to managing transfers between different devices. BLAKER was designed to provide a simple and cost-effective solution for printing and transferring data between PCs without wasting too much paper.

The working principle behind this application basically enables users to load multiple files, be it documents or images and convert them into either a QR or a proprietary, BLAKER QR code. The conversion ensures that a wide range of data can be encompassed into a single code instance.

The conversion rate, as stated by the developer stands at about 20KB of data (compressed) on an A4 format page, at a 60DPI print setting. This means that several documents and or images can be stored into a single page, containing QR codes, this way saving users from printing multiple pages.

The application also supports video files for conversion to QR codes and consequent transfer to other PCs. The working principle is similar to tot the one used for documents and images.

One other useful feature is the fact that the app offers its own virtual printer service, which can also increase efficiency and decrease paper waste. There are several inherent limitations, such as the number of pages available for printing or the compression volume, but these aren’t such a deal-breaker.

This app will convert documents, images or frames from videos into QR codes with the purpose of saving printing paper when transferring the data between differ rent PCs. Although not impressive through its looks, the working principle behind does its job effectively.
