BlazeVideo YouTube Downloader is an easy-to-use Windows app designed to download YouTube clips and, optionally convert them to other formats, namely 3GP and XVID (AVI).

It is also capable of making them compatible with iPod, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and PSP devices.

The setup procedure does not take a long time to finish, nor require special attention from the user.

As far as the interface is concerned, the main application window has a neatly organized structure, where you can write or paste a YouTube link to get the video from.

You can convert it by specifying the output profile and quality. There is also the option of pointing out local video files for conversion (MP4 or FLV format), instead of inputting URLs.

The app does not take a long time to complete a downloading job, and it delivers videos with fair quality after conversion. We have not come across any problems in our evaluation, since BlazeVideo YouTube Downloader did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs.

Although it is not particularly resourceful compared to similar applications, BlazeVideo YouTube Downloader gets the job done when it comes to downloading and converting YouTube videos. Thanks to its intuitive structure and overall simplicity, even those with little or no experience in video conversion tools can quickly figure out this app.
