BlindScanner

BlindScanner is a straightforward software program which allows you to scan files remotely via TCP/IP. It can seamlessly figured out, even by less experienced users.

The app is wrapped in a standard interface with an intuitive layout. BlindScanner automatically detects all scanner devices that are remotely connected to your computer.

All you have to do is pick a preference from the drop-down list. Plus, you can add new server by inputting its address and port number.

BlindScanner can be set to scan for multiple documents and to create either one file for each image, or a single multipage file. The first option allows you to save files to BMP, GIF, JPG, PDF, PNG and TIFF, while the other one supports only PDF and TIFF for the output extension.

You can set the tool to automatically scan documents with delay by setting timer settings. On top of that, you can select the scanning resolution and color mode, enable an automatic feeder, as well as make the app scan both sides and to skip blank pages.

The lightweight application has a good response time, supports multiple languages for the GUI, quickly finishes a task and includes user documentation. We have not come across any issues throughout our testing; BlindScanner did not hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Thanks to its intuitive layout and overall simplicity, first-time users can quickly learn how to handle this program.
