Bluestone

The Markdown markup language enables users to be more precise with their text formatting by providing them multiple means of expressing themselves, making it versatile for all manner for uses. Bluestone is an open-source Markdown editor that takes a what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) approach to the language, making working with it easier to assimilate, while also providing some interesting amenities, such as document synchronization capabilities.

I appreciated the File History function and how it enabled me to go back to an earlier document revision. The menu is well-made in that sense, as it shows you a preview of your records for a given document fully.

Another feature of note lies in the software’s Share Note capabilities. In short, users can synchronize their documents and share them easier by adding their own server or cloud storage within the app. The SSH protocol is supported, but you may also set up a custom script for your domain.

Bluestone is quite well-featured, as it provides many types of users with the tools to take advantage of Markdown. Even with all these features, I’d say the highlight is how well everything is meshed together without complicating anything.
