Description
Bolt
Bolt is your go-to web browser for cruising the internet. It's one of those tools you can use to access your favorite websites, check emails, or even play online games. At first glance, it looks pretty polished and ready to roll.
First Impressions
But after using it for a while, you might feel a bit let down. Despite its user-friendly vibe, there aren't any hidden gems waiting for you under the surface. You can open multiple pages in different tabs, but if you're the type who likes everything organized just so, you're out of luck since you can't move those tabs around once they're open.
Bookmarking Your Favorites
If you want to keep track of your favorite sites, there's a “Bookmarks” menu for that! However, there's no option to pin them directly to your taskbar. You do have a handy “Home” button that takes you back to the default opening page in case you wander too far into the depths of the web.
Lacking Features
Beyond these basic features, Bolt doesn't have much else going on. There's no way to track your browsing history because it doesn't include that feature. Plus, every time you start up Bolt or open a new tab, you'll see the same default page—no options to customize it!
Opening Links and Searching
If you try to open a link in another window, it'll just launch another browser like Internet Explorer instead of handling it all in Bolt. And if you're thinking about doing a quick search? Well, be prepared because there's no built-in search bar. That means you'll need to fire up an engine separately for that.
Speed and Usability
If web browsers were racing each other, let's just say Bolt would be lagging behind. Its interface is simple enough but lacks some of the more advanced features you'd find in other browsers out there. Still, if you're feeling adventurous and want to try something new, giving Bolt a shot might not be such a bad idea!
