Braille Labeler

With the aid of Braille Labeler you can seamlessly create, design and print Braille labels for CDs, books and other purposes. It's wrapped in a simple wizard which guides you every step of the way, and requires that you have a virtual printer driver installed for your Braille embosser.

After a fast setup operation which shouldn't give you any trouble, you are welcomed by a large window with a neatly organized structure, where you can get started by creating a new label project. This can be later saved and opened to pick up from where you left off.

Braille Labeler asks you to select a predefined sheet format from a long list, or to create your own custom format by setting the paper size, measurement unit, first label position, label size, number of labels, and separation. The template can be previewed during this time to make sure you're not making any mistakes that you'd later have to adjust.

In the following wizard steps, you can enter text and tweak its position and size, as well as select translation rule and exception files after examining their properties.

Once your virtual printer driver for your label embosser is identified, it's possible to choose the start position on the sheet and range of labels to emboss from. The new label can be immediately printed. Aside from the fact that you can consult a help manual, there are no other notable options available here.

We haven't come across any problems in our tests, thanks to the fact that the program didn't hang, crash or prompt error dialogs. It had minimal impact on computer performance, running on low CPU and RAM.
