Breezeblox is an entertaining puzzle game that uses basic mechanics, but do not let its simplicity fool you. It becomes very challenging after just a few minutes, and will have you racking your brain for the right solution.

There are a total of 150 levels to conquer, so this is certainly not a game that can be completed in one session, unless you do not plan on leaving your Mac for quite some time.

At first glance, things seem remarkably simple, and they pretty much are. You control a rectangular object made up of four yellow blocks that can be moved in four directions, on its base and on its edge.

Your goal during each level is to reach the red blocks and position the object so that it covers all of them. This is not as easy as it sounds, however, as some very intricate maneuvers will be required, and the space at your disposal is rather limited.

Later on, the game gets a bit more complicated, as new types of blocks are introduced. Some of them fall after being used, while others bring up additional blocks, teleport you to another location or rearrange the cubes on the platform.

The 150 levels you have to complete are split into three chapters, and things get more and more challenging as you progress through each one.

Breezeblox features simple graphics and uses a bright color palette, both of which come together to make for a pleasant and very colorful visual experience.

The sound effects are simple and do not disappoint, but the background music becomes irritating after a while.

Overall, Breezeblox is a fun puzzle game that uses basic mechanics but is a lot more challenging than your might expect. It can keep you occupied for quite some time, so fire it up and enjoy the color show.
