How It Works

To get Browser ChooserX working its magic, you'll need to set it as your default web browser. Once that's done, whenever you click on a link, it'll go straight to Browser ChooserX. From there, it applies any custom filters you've set up.

Choosing Your Browser

You can pick which browser opens your links using the status bar menulet. Plus, you can create rules based on the link's domain or the app you opened it from. That way, every time you click a link, it knows exactly what to do!

No More Custom Rules?

If you'd rather not deal with custom rules at all, no problem! You can have Browser ChooserX show a list of browsers every time you click on a link. This way, you get to choose without any hassle.

User-Defined Rules

The app lets you decide which rules take priority: those based on domains or those based on source apps. This is pretty important because it can totally change how your links are handled!

Background Opening
