Bubble Tuner is a cool little app designed for all you music lovers out there! If you play an instrument and want to get it perfectly tuned, this OS X app makes it super easy. Just fire it up on your Mac, and you’re ready to go!

How Does Bubble Tuner Work?

Tuning instruments can be tricky, right? With Bubble Tuner, you can use your Mac’s built-in microphone to listen to your instruments. It checks the notes being played and compares them with its library of popular tunings. In just a few minutes, you'll know exactly what adjustments need to be made.

User-Friendly Interface

The app is really easy to use! It has two main tuning modes: the Cents Gauge and an HZ / Octave Graph. You can pick which one works best for you.

Main Window Layout

The main window is split into three sections, making it super organized:

• Instruments Panel: This is where you'll find tunings for guitars, viols, and violins.


• Cents Gauge or HZ / Octave Graph: Choose your preferred mode right in the middle.


• Notes & Frequencies Panel: This section shows notes, octaves, and frequencies on the right side.

Beginner-Friendly Modes

If you're just starting out, you'll love the Octave Graph mode. It shows how pitch rises and falls visually. Both modes work together to help detect octaves, frequencies, cents, and semitones easily!

Add Your Own Tunings

You’re not stuck with just the built-in tunings! You can add custom instrument tunings too. Head into Bubble Tuner’s Preferences menu where you can tweak values like reference pitch and decimal places.

Customize Your Experience

You can even change colors in Bubble Tuner! Set it up so that different colors show whether your instrument is in tune or not. Plus, choose settings for fine-tuning high or deep notes!
