The cool thing about Budget Map is its simple user interface. You get one window where all your transactions are neatly organized by category. By default, it starts with two categories: Home and Work. But don’t worry! You can create new ones in just a few clicks.

When you're setting up a new category, Budget Map lets you pick from some built-in icon designs. How cool is that? Plus, you can use different currencies for each group and even set a spending limit to help stick to your budget.

Easy Transaction Tracking

Getting started with Budget Map is super simple. Just choose a category and create a new record for each transaction, where you’ll log the amount, date, and whether it's income or an expense. You can even add a text description and upload a picture for each entry—although during our test on an iMac running OS X 10.11, the picture feature didn’t work very well.

Stay on Top of Your Spending

This app automatically balances your categories so you can easily see if you're spending more than you're making. Just check out the Reports tab for all that info at a glance!

Manage Your Loans Like a Pro

But wait, there’s more! Budget Map can also help keep track of loans. You just enter details like the amount borrowed, issue date, expiration date, first payment date, and interest rate. The app does the math for you so you'll know how much to pay each month.
