Budget Map - Financial Assistant is your go-to app for keeping tabs on your finances. If you want to make sure you're using your money wisely, this little OS X app can really help!

Easy-to-Use Interface

The user interface is super simple. You get one window that shows all your transactions neatly sorted by category. It starts with two default categories: Home and Work. But don’t worry; you can easily create new ones whenever you need.

Create Custom Categories

If you want to make things even clearer, when you set up a new category in Budget Map - Financial Assistant, you can pick from a bunch of built-in icons. Plus, each group can have its own currency and spending limit to help keep you on track with your budget!

Track Your Transactions

Getting started is a breeze! Just select a category and create a new record for each transaction. You’ll fill in details like the amount, date, and whether it's income or an expense.

Add Descriptions and Pictures

You can even add a text description and assign a picture to each record! However, during our test on an iMac running OS X 10.11, we found that the picture feature didn’t work as expected.

Monitor Your Spending

The best part? Budget Map - Financial Assistant helps keep everything balanced automatically. You can check if you're spending more than you're earning in each category through the Reports tab.

Manage Your Loans

This app isn’t just about tracking spending; it can also help with loans! You just enter the loan amount, issue date, expiration date, first payment date, and interest rate. The app will do all the math for how much you need to pay each month.

Your Debt Made Easy

This handy tool lets you analyze your loan info so you'll know when your next payment is due. This way, you'll always factor in those payments when planning your future expenses.
