Description

Bulk Rename Command

Bulk Rename Command is the console edition of Bulk Rename Utility, providing an assortment of commands and instructions to help you customize the name of the input files exactly as you wish. Since there is no standard GUI, beginners might find it difficult to use this console application, so they are advised to continue using Bulk Rename Utility instead.

Features:

  • Invoke the main executable file using "/?" as an argument to trigger the help system.

  • Display a complete list of all available commands in alphabetical order, grouped into two separate categories.

  • Process commands in the sequence specified for modifying input file names.

  • Preview output before executing the operation.

  • Convert case of name or extension, append suffixes and prefixes, and more.

  • Get rid of leading dots, remove file extension, erase digits, and more options.

Usage:

Bulk Rename Command targets system administrators and experienced users comfortable with console applications. Its main purpose is to automate repetitive renaming operations and allows processing hundreds of log or backup files in one go.

Compatibility:

This console edition lacks some features available in the GUI version, such as EXIF or MP3 tag editing. However, it efficiently performs batch renaming tasks.
