Calculator XL is a Windows application that provides you with a simple and intuitive interface for using a Metro calculator with basic and advanced operators, such as sine, cosine and pi. It's made for those looking for an alternative to the OS built-in calculator utility.

Specifically designed for machines running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10, Calculator XL is available in a large window with big, flat buttons, making it ideal for touch-supported devices, such as notebooks, laptops or tablets.

Although it's ad-supported, the program is trusted by Microsoft regarding security. Subsequently, it can be downloaded and installed from the Windows Store, so you can deploy it as a pinned app from your Start Screen or Menu.

The calculator's buttons are displayed on the left in light and dark grey, and the only colored ones are the buttons for clearing everything (C) and for getting the result (=).

The upper part of the screen contains an empty box, where you can type and view numbers and operators. You can type the code of a function if you prefer this to clicking its corresponding button on the calculator (such as ln (number) for finding out the natural logarithm of a number), as well as view the complete equation before pressing the equal button.

The last three calculations are recorded to history and shown next to the calculator. When it comes to operators and functions, you can calculate the factorial (x!), square root (sqrt), percent value (%), sine (sin), cosine (cos), tangent (tan), natural logarithm (ln), logarithm (log), reciprocal (1/x) and exponential function (e^x).

Also, it's possible to double a number (x^2), raise a number to any power (y^x), find the absolute of a number (|x|), as well as to apply the pi and e constants in the expressions.

To sum things up, Calculator XL delivers an intuitive method for calculating math expressions using a Metro app.
