ChitChat is a cool desktop client for WhatsApp on your Mac. It lets you send and receive messages while you work on your computer, so you don’t have to keep checking your phone. How great is that?
To use ChitChat, the first step is to connect it with your phone. You’ll need a phone that has WhatsApp installed. This can be an Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, or even a Nokia S60 or S40.
Connecting is super simple! Just open the WhatsApp web app on your computer and use your phone's camera to scan the QR code shown on the screen. Once you do this, your phone and Mac will link up automatically. It's best if both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network to save data.
ChitChat works just like WhatsApp Web, so once everything is set up, you can start chatting right away! Keep your phone connected to the Mac, and you’ll be able to send and receive messages without missing a beat.
This app allows you to do almost everything that the web version does: send and receive text messages and share media files too! Plus, you'll get notifications through the notifications center whenever someone messages you.
A little heads up though—the attachment button isn't working perfectly at the moment. But don’t worry! You can still add media files by dragging them into ChitChat's main window.
The app also comes with some handy keyboard shortcuts. These let you quickly start new chats, search through old messages, or jump back into specific conversations without any hassle!
