CloudyTabs is a simple app for your OS X status bar that lets you see all the tabs you've got open on any device linked to your iCloud account. It works with the Safari browser and shows you a handy list of all the websites currently open on each of your devices.
To get the most out of CloudyTabs, make sure you're using Safari and logged into the same iCloud account on every device. This is super important for syncing! The app automatically lists all your Safari tabs, whether they're open on your iPad, iPhone, or iMac.
You'll see the title for each website listed. If you hold down the Command key, you can even peek at the full web address! To open a link, just click it with your mouse or press Command + Return when hovering over it.
The site opens up in your default web browser. Plus, if you want to open all tabs from one device, you can do that easily too! Hovering over the CloudyTabs menulet will show you when it last synced.
While CloudyTabs is great for managing your Safari tabs, there are some quirks. For instance, copying tab URLs to your clipboard doesn't always work as expected. Also, remember that it only tracks tabs from Safari—so if you're using another browser, this tool won't help much.
If you've found something cool while browsing on your iPhone or iPad, and want to keep looking on your computer, CloudyTabs makes it easy!
