ClueFinders 4th Grade FOR MAC

ClueFinders 4th Grade is an interesting Mac OS X educational game about the adventures of four kids, called the Clue Finders, in Egypt. Throughout their journey, the adventurers will have to use various skills to solve mysteries.

In essence, ClueFinders 4th Grade aims to improve the math, science, language arts and logical thinking abilities of children of about 10 years old through various captivating activities.

Kids at this age are normally interested in adventure and mystery and this is what the game aims to build on. In each stage of the game, players will have to solve diverse problems in order to proceed to the next level.

The story evolves around four young characters, Leslie, Santiago, Owen and Joni, who travel to an archeological site in Egypt with their professor. When they arrive there, an ancient pharaoh’s tomb is about to open to the public.

Initially, the professor is excited about the news, but he’s unaware of an evil archeologist’s plans to steal both him and the tomb’s relics. The children are thus left without a caretaker, but are determined to find the professor at all costs.

And so, the Clue Finders start looking for clues to the missing professor’s whereabouts. The only clue they could find is an ancient papyrus scroll that was left behind by the thieves.

Unfortunately for the Clue Finders, the language engraved on the scroll is not one familiar to them. Their next move is to find some way to decipher the scroll’s contents.  Finding the kidnappers depends on the translation of the ancient writing. To achieve their goals, the Clue Finders must be patient, think of logical answers and solve various math problems.

The ClueFinders 4th Grade game does not come with an extraordinary user interface, but it does manage to intrigue young minds through its storytelling and challenges.
