CMDsock
CMDsock is a free and easy-to-use tool that acts like a telnet server (or shell binder) and it works on any Windows or *nix based operating system.
What Can CMDsock Do?
So, what can you do with CMDsock? Well, it lets you set a password, change the listening port and interface, and even use reverse shell options. This means the tool can connect to a specific host:port! Plus, it also works over UDP and automatically converts LF to CR/LF. Pretty neat, right?
Keep in Mind
NOTE: CMDsock is still experimental. This means there are some bugs you should be aware of. For instance, right now you can't stop the execution of programs once they're running. Also, on Windows systems, using stdin isn’t possible yet.
How to Install CMDsock
If you're eager to get started with CMDsock, here’s how to install it:
Unarchive the files,
open a Terminal window,
go to the program's folder,
and run these commands from the command line:./configure
make
make installThis will set everything up for you! After that, just run the program by typing its name in your terminal.
