ConnectionMonitor is a tiny and portable software utility that help you find out the connectivity strength between your local computer and a remote one via LAN by sending ping commands. It's capable of automatically pinging multiple hosts at the same time as well as of generating reports.

Since installation is not required, you can save the program files in any part of the HDD and simply click the executable to launch ConnectionMonitor. There is also the option to save it to a removable storage unit in order to directly run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers. Moreover, it doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

Made from a basic window with a simplistic structure, the interface is user-friendly. A new entry can be added to the list by filling out several details, such as description, target range, frequency, timeout, count and size.

As far as logging is concerned, the utility can be asked to keep track of all pinged hosts, or only the good or bad ones. It's possible to modify the log file's location on the disk, edit host properties or remove any entries from the list, as well as to start and stop the automatic pinging service with one click.

No error dialogs were shown in our tests, and the software tool didn't freeze or crash. It had a good response time and left a small footprint on system resources consumption, running in low CPU and RAM.

To conclude, ConnectionMonitor offers a fast and simple solution to pinging multiple hosts at the same time, and it can be seamlessly handled by anyone.
