Cultures Northland FOR MAC

 Cultures Northland is a realtime strategy game for macOS set in medieval Northlands during the viking period. Throughout 8 campaigns, you must raise your village and protect it against swarming enemies using skillful tactics.

At the forefront of characters sits Bjarni, the leader of a Viking group, alongside his female companion, Cyra, and their comrades, Sigurd and Hatchi. It is Hatchi’s village that you must help flourish and protect against attackers. The best tactic is probably to not to blindly attack enemies, but if there is no other alternative, do so.

In  Cultures Northland, you are invited to prove your worth by managing a village’s supplies, build homes, barracks, farms, schools, bakeries and other buildings. Of course, you must put your peasants to work if you want food and supplies. You must also grow the population in order to help the village thrive.

The game has a certain RPG element to it, as you can observe your settlers how they go about their daily activities, such as making conversation, eating, sleeping, etc. Your villagers can even marry between each other, have babies and raise them into capable young people.

Each villager has its own job and unique character and the more they work, the more their skills improve. This way, they can advance in social status. It seems that settlers play a very important part in the overall game mechanism of  Cultures Northland. The whole culture of these medieval people is presented to you.

In your missions, you can control 4 different heroes and more than 30 occupational groups, each with a different skill system and jobs. The action takes place in a beautiful and lavish 3D world that you can view on a  mini-map. Before starting a game, you have the choice to play it at different difficulty levels.
