Dapper is a small yet super handy application that makes it super easy to transfer or copy your iTunes playlists to your DAP (that’s short for digital audio player).
If you’ve ever felt frustrated because Apple’s iTunes only works with its own devices, then Dapper is here to help! The best part about using Dapper is that you won’t have to deal with two different music libraries anymore.
Here’s the scoop: Dapper syncs up your tracks and playlists that start with “Dapper” from iTunes straight to your DAP, which your Mac recognizes as a storage device. Pretty cool, right?
Dapper has been tested and works great with lots of popular DAPs like FiiO (X5, X3, and X1), HiFiMan (Hm-901, HM-601), Astell and Kern (AK100II, AK 120II, and AK240), and iBasso (DX50 and DX90). So chances are it’ll work for you!
To kick things off with Dapper, just connect your DAP to your Mac. You’ll also need to let Dapper access the iTunes folder. Don’t forget! Your DAP drives should be formatted to MS-DOS format first.
After that setup, you're just a few clicks away from moving those playlists from iTunes over to your DAP! One of the coolest features of Dapper is its slider controller. It lets you balance file storage between internal storage units.
This slider helps you decide which music goes where while showing how much space you’re using in real-time. Plus, the customization options are awesome! You can sync your iTunes playlists based on albums, artist names, song titles, or even genres.
You can also choose how file names look by capitalizing them if you want. And guess what? You can store all music and playlist files in any folder you like!
Dapper makes transferring iTunes playlists to other devices besides iOS ones a breeze. With just a few clicks of your mouse, you'll be ready to enjoy your tunes wherever you go! For download, check out SoftPas for more info!
