Your choices and skills will shape the outcome of the war and even write the history of the Dark Horizons universe. How cool is that? Welcome to the Dark Horizons Universe

This thrilling game is set in the mid-22nd century within the Dark Horizons Universe. Get ready for some heart-pounding action! You'll take charge of six awesome Mechanized Assault Vehicles, or MAVs for short. These giant machines are controlled from pods located far away, so you can pilot them remotely! They’re loaded with cutting-edge 22nd-century weapons like plasma rifles, cannons, and missiles.

Customize Your MAV Experience

You can start by customizing and piloting just one MAV, or if you're feeling adventurous, you can gain experience and lead a whole group of them! Want to go even bigger? You can take command of an entire battalion and fight alongside your friends as a united front. Choose to join forces with a bunch of free nations called the Federated States, or team up with the resurgent Soviet block known as the Eastern Confederation. The fate of resource-rich No Man's Land lies in your hands!

A note from the game's developers: Max Gaming has announced that they will be shutting down the Lore: Invasion login server and game servers on Monday, November 17th, 2008. While this marks the end of our first run, it doesn’t mean goodbye to our fantastic community who have kept this game alive long after support ended.
