Take control of the powerful Arklight X-52 in this addictive Sci-Fi based space shooter and defend the asteroid belt against alien invaders.

Earth have been peacefully mining the asteroid belt of your solar system for over 200 years until the Krainian Empire invaded our remote territories and start distorting our drilling units.

It is now your mission to use your piloting skills and take control of the advanced spaceship in order to defend the human kind and stop the alien invasion.

By playing Darkside, you can pilot your way through over 100 challenging levels filled with massive asteroids, flying rocks, numerous power-ups and merciless aliens. As you try to keep the invaders away from the mining colonies you also have to avoid flying asteroids and rocks that can damage your ship.

Throughout the game you can pick up a wide variety of power-ups that will increase your fire rate along with the damage, add more weapons to the spaceship, improve aiming, add lives and upgrade your shield. The game’s HUD helps you keep track of your score, view the remaining lives along with your shield and weapons status. You can also view the amount of ammo for each weapon and check the percentage of the remaining asteroid mass.

The gameplay is amazing, with immersive 3D graphics, easy-to-learn but difficult-to-master game controls, various enemies and weapons that will keep you busy for hours. In total, you have access to tree game modes: Missions, Arcade and Survival.

In Arcade mode you need to complete as many levels as you can with only tree lives. The Missions mode follows the story of the game and features numerous objectives while the Survival game mode will test your aiming, piloting and shooting skills as you try to take down as many enemies as you can with only one life.
