The importance of substrate and soil in today’s infrastructure, be it that we’re referring to construction work, mining, sampling, as well as a load of other applications, cannot be stressed enough.

To ensure a standardized approach, soils have been classified in accordance with a multitude of parameters, and some include the granulometry for separating soil into different classes. Dartis Classify is an application that was created specifically in order to address such requirements, and it will provide you with means to classify your soil samples in accordance with the USCS and AASHTO protocols.

The main working principle of the app involves inputting the different values for the different parameters of each soil sample. To that end, one will be able to add subsequent sieve passes, as well as liquid or plastic limits. Running the classification can be done using the on-screen, dedicated features.

Having processed the classification after inputting their preferred soil sample data, users will then be able to export it for subsequent use, and the application comes with support for exporting it to Excel-compatible formats.
