DeckHub is a super handy GitHub desktop client that helps you manage your GitHub account in a way that's similar to how TweetDeck works for Twitter. It’s designed to let you connect directly to your GitHub account and organize different feeds into neat columns that are easy to glance at.
First things first, when you use DeckHub, you need to log into your GitHub account. This lets the app take control of some features related to your account. If you ever feel like changing things up, don’t worry! You can always revoke this access through the Settings panel on your GitHub account.
One cool thing about DeckHub is that it lets you work with multiple GitHub accounts all at once! You get to decide whether you want private or public access for each account. This makes it really flexible for folks who manage more than one repo.
DeckHub supports four types of feeds: Home, Activity, Repository, and Notifications. The Notifications feed lets you change the column name, while the other feeds come with a search tool so you can customize what shows up in them!
This means you can keep an eye on several repositories at once or track the home and activity feeds from different users or organizations easily. You can even rearrange the columns by dragging and dropping them around, plus adjust filtering rules whenever you want.
If personalization is your thing, you'll love that DeckHub lets you tweak things like the color theme (dark or light), column size (you can choose narrow, normal, or wide), refresh intervals, and how external links are handled.
In short, DeckHub makes interacting with GitHub as smooth as using Twitter! You can keep tabs on multiple users' activities, track repositories effectively, and view notifications—all organized in columns however you'd like!
