Defense of Greece FOR MAC

You have probably never wondered what would happen if you tried to mix ancient Greek warfare with steam engines and modern metalwork. If that sentence has piqued your interest, however, Defense of Greece may be worth a try.

It is a fun tower defense game that employs a number of mechanics to help distinguish it from other titles in the genre.

You can take advantage of four combat towers to operate your defenses, each with their strengths and weaknesses. Some are more effective against clusters of units or machines, while others can take out balloons or slow down your enemies.

Your combat towers can be improved in a number of ways by installing various components.  These can give a bonus to damage, rate of fire, radius and critical damage.

If things are not going well, or if the enemy has taken you by surprise, you have the option of intervening in the battle yourself. You can bring down fire or lightning upon your opponents, throw grenades or bombs.

Their supply is limited, however, so you should take care to use them only when you have no other option.

Throughout the course of the game, other characters will assign you various quests. These can be completed in order to receive additional rewards that you can use to purchase new weapons or improvements.

The game’s graphics are nothing out of the ordinary, but certainly do not look out of place. Similarly, the soundtrack and audio effects are unremarkable, but they will probably not give you the urge to mute the volume altogether.

If you are a fan of tower defense games, Defense of Greece should provide you with a few hours of entertainment as you attempt to strike down countless waves of enemies.
