Creating passwords is a tricky thing, because guidelines always advocate for complex, lengthy passwords, which ultimately makes remembering them quite difficult. Still, it's better than having your account stolen because someone could brute-force their way into it, so using a generator to create strong passwords is a quite common practice nowadays.
The reasoning behind password generators is simple: such tools are able to create completely random, intricate keyphrases, which can be utilized by the user as their password. Definitive Password Generator numbers among them, and it can generate passwords based on a set of parameters of your choosing.
At its core, the only intricate things about the software are the passwords it can generate. Installing it is quick and worry-free, and the tool can start generating your next password within seconds after booting it up. There isn't anything particular in getting this to work: the program, much like its installation, is self-explanatory in regard to its functions.
For maximum security, all the parameters are turned on by default, and a 16 character-long keyphrase will be generated. Click Generate, and the program will reveal what is presumably your next password. New passwords can be generated as many times as the user wants — don't forget to copy the one you're happy with.
Users can freely customize the generation parameters. You can choose to include or omit symbols, numbers, upper-case and lower-case characters, as well as specify the length of the password. In addition to that, you can exclude similar characters, such as I and l, to clear confusion, and ambiguous strings, like {]/; can all be included or excluded from your password.
The program also features a tray functionality, by way of which it can generate a password and copy it to the user's clipboard, without requiring navigating to the interface.
If you want more secure passwords, it might serve you well to try Definitive Password Generator. The absence of a history list of sorts, where users could view the passwords they've generated via the program, was quite a surprise: as it's still quite early in development, I would say that including such a feature would greatly improve the software's usability.
