The Internet is filled with lots of nice applications and programs that you could use in order to perform all sort of operations on your device. One of such applications is DirectMath.

It's a mathematical word processor and easy to use front end to the Mathematica and Maxima computer algebra systems. It comes with lots of nice features and tools.

The application doesn't take long to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a really intuitive graphical interface with plenty of tools at hand.

DirectMath is a nice mathematical word processor. As a word processor, DirectMath is fairly simple and straight-forward. Beyond the usual editing commands that you are familiar with from other text editing applications, DirectMath has only a few simple commands in the Format menu for setting the format of text and paragraphs.

Text can appear in one of only five basic styles. Math style text is the default text style used for equations and for inline math expressions such as x + y. The font used for math style also contains a collection of special mathematical symbols.

Typewriter style is typically used to refer to the names of functions in code that you have written. Typewriter is the default text style used for the Source Code paragraph style.

DirectMath allows you to type equations in a what-you-see-is-what-you-get style. Typing mathematical text in DirectMath is fast and easy: to create mathematical constructions you click on the buttons in the toolbar or use control key shortcuts.

The drawing tools in DirectMath are designed to meet a number of needs. As you will see, the drawing tools are designed to be quick and easy to use if all you need to do is to create a simple drawing or diagram.

You can also use the drawing tools for plotting. DirectMath is a very nice application that you could use in order to perform all sort of calculations and use drawing to solve math problems.
