What is DockStar FOR MAC?

DockStar is a handy little tool for Apple Mail that makes customizing your Mail Dock icon super easy. With it, you can use multiple badges to keep track of unread emails for different inboxes and even specific folders. It’s perfect if you juggle several accounts!

Easy Installation

The DockStar software comes with an installer package that lets it blend right in with your Apple Mail app. Just follow the on-screen instructions, and you'll be up and running in no time!

Setting Up Badges

You’ll only see the indicators in your Dock after you link them to one of your email accounts or folders. To do this, just head over to the DockStar Preferences by opening the Apple Mail Preferences window.

Selecting Your Preferences

Right off the bat, you need to assign an email account or folder to each badge. Plus, you can choose what info you want displayed: unread count, total message count, or flagged messages. It’s super customizable!

Extra Features

DockStar gives you some cool options like including nested folders and placing badges in the menu bar. You can even set sound alerts! If you're feeling creative, switch up the badge shapes or change its color.

Resizing Badges

If you want to adjust how your badges look, just drag and drop from the corner of each badge in the Dock icon representation. Easy peasy!
