DoSA-3D

The inherent complexity that is experienced by those who are working with applications that involve either actuators or solenoids, can pose significant challenges, especially when dealing with complex setups. Being able to design and simulate configurations for such undertakings can make a significant difference, allowing one to learn and gather information about the behavior of the magnetic field involved in solenoid functioning and related aspects.

Designed with such approaches in mind, DoSA-3D is a specialized app that will enable users to design and simulate configurations for actuators and solenoids, all in a 3D context. Just as its counterpart app, DoSA-2D, it also works in conjuncture with FEMM (The Finite Element Method) software.

Be it that users find themselves working in a development environment, production, or other undertakings, the application will allow them to define the characteristics of the solenoid and actuator configurations. Support for a wide range of components is offered, and the 3D visualizer allows one to preview the configurations with several on-screen controls.

Three separate applications are connected in DoSA-3D, one for the actual working environment, GetDP for performing the magnetic force calculations and processing, and Gmsh for pre and post-processing, as well as mesh structuring for the 3D visualization.
