Dragon Keeper is a cheerful Mac OS X game about raising dragons and completing various quests for saving your kingdom and princess. When you were about to wed your beautiful princess, the evil witch interrupted the wedding, turned your princess to stone and enslaved your castle.

Being banished from the kingdom for all eternity, your goal is to save your kingdom and beloved princess from the hands of the witch with the help of magical dragons. As soon as the dragons accept you into their lair, you are set to raise dragon babies and build an army strong enough to defeat the evil witch.

This said, Dragon Keeper is a strategy adventure game set in a fantasy world where dragons roam. In the dragon cave, you will buy dragon eggs, feed dragon and raise them until they are fit to fly, collect gems and build precious items and protect the lair from mischievous intruders.

The gameplay consists of clicking on items in the right order. You must be careful not to starve dragons while keeping an eye out for quest items and thieves. A total of 4 caves are waiting to be explored and 15 dragons to be raised. You can customize the caves and earn achievements (bonus activities).

The graphics of the game look good and are especially suited for users who usually like hand-drawn artwork. The music and sound effects build an excellent atmosphere. You can also play the game in full-screen mode or windowed.

All things considered, Dragon Keeper contains all the right ingredients to keep adults and children alike entertained for hours. You might get attached to the cute dragons and addicted (in a good way) to the reward-based system of the game. In short, the game is worth it if you like small-scale animal raising games.
