Duke Nukem is a video game character created in the 1990s that portrays a powerful individual who fights against hordes of aliens in a quest to save planet Earth. He appeared in several video games, like Duke Nukem 3D and Duke Nukem Forever.

Duke Nukem Forever is the newest title in the series, with a very long development cycle. Initially announced in 1997, the title switched multiple developers and was released only after 14 years, in 2011. In Duke Nukem Forever, the aliens are in an all-out vendetta for Duke, so you must try and kill all the opposing forces, trying to save our planet.
