DVD43 allows on-the-fly DVD decrypting by adding a driver for your optical drives to the system. This way, you can enjoy DVD multimedia content no matter the region is set to work in. This tool can prove to be the right one in case you experience all sorts of problems when trying to make backups or even play a DVD.
Although the general trend places the 64-bit operating systems at the top, this application only works with 32-bit versions of Windows and any response to the multiple user requests has not yet been given by its developer. The powerful driver disables both zones and copy-protection systems on most DVDs, relieving legal owners of all the hassle they bring along.
DVD43 works alongside various software such as Nero Recode, 1Click DVD Copy, Roxio DVD Copy, Pinnacle DVD Copy or Intervideo DVD Copy and also comes in a plug-in version for 1Click DVD Copy that does not require the program to be installed in order to successfully accomplish the task of DVD decrypting. Note that this plug-in also supports 64-bit operating systems.
Moreover, this application enables DVDs to be played over a LAN. This comes in very handy for workstations not featuring an optical drive by granting access to the server’s DVD drive. DVD43 harmoniously integrates with the most DVD players like WinDVD, PowerDVD or DVD2One, overriding the DRM (Digital Rights Management) system protecting your discs.
DVD43 actively works on decoding the Content Scramble System (CSS) to permit the copy or backup creation, while serving as a great solution for playback of DVDs outside their release region. This makes DVD43 a very helpful alternative to completely ripping the disc contents in order to watch them, eliminating the time-consuming part of the problem. As a side-note, if it ever fails to work with certain discs, you can always go for DVDFab, DVDFab HD Decrypter, AnyDVD or AnyDVD HD.
The bottom line is that DVD43 turns out to be a nifty piece of software that blends with most DVD player and/or copy applications, allowing you to bypass DVD protection systems. While this may sound like the inception of a bootlegging operation, the sole purpose of this program rests on lending a helping hand to legally produced disc owners.
