DVDFab Media Player is a cool macOS app that lets you play a ton of media file formats, including Blu-ray discs. Whether it's DVD discs or ISO image files, this player has got you covered. Plus, it handles popular formats like AVI, FLV, MKV, M4V, MPG, MP4, MOV, WMV, SWF, and more!

Simple User Interface

The user interface for DVDFab Media Player is really simple. You get a nice window to watch your videos. On the right side of the main window, there's an option to pull up a panel where you can see all the files you've added to your playback queue.

No Playlist Saving

Just a heads up: you can't save playlists with this player. It also doesn't remember the files you've added after you close it. So every time you start it up again, you'll need to pick each file manually.

User-Friendly Controls

The app comes with basic controls like adjusting the volume, playing or stopping videos, fast-forwarding or rewinding them. You can also jump to the start or end of a video and toggle that handy playlist panel.

Easy Video Adjustments

If you want to tweak things a bit more, the DVDFab Media Player Control menu makes it easy to adjust video ratios and colors. You can load subtitle files for your videos and even change playback speed without breaking a sweat!

Customization Options

You’ll find even more options in the Preferences window. Here’s where you can change how the app behaves when you insert a disc. You can set up default Blu-ray region codes and decide which file types should be linked with this player.

High-Quality Playback

This media player is built for high-quality video content and has a user-friendly design. However, during our tests on an iMac with 6GB RAM and a 2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, we noticed some crashes happening.

No Playlist Memory Issues

A final note: as mentioned earlier, there’s no way to save playlists or remember previously added videos between sessions.
