The Internet is filled with all sort of applications and programs that you could use when working on your projects. One of them is Easy MASW.
It's a useful software solution that allows you to view, analyze and interpret seismic data using the MASW method, Multi-Channel Analysis of Surface Waves.
The application takes almost no time to install and it doesn't come with a complicated setup that you would need to complete before you can actually use it. It sports a clean and intuitive graphical interface with many nice features at hand.
Easy MASW is a useful software solution that allows you to view, analyze and interpret seismic data using the MASW method, Multi-Channel Analysis of Surface Waves.
It allows you to add a general description of your project, together with information on the location, area, date, latitude, longitude and altitude. It also allows you to add photos if you want and you can add information on tracks, like geophone spacing, sampling time, amplification tracks drawing and acquisition time.
The seismic signal can be decomposed into several phases, each of which identifies the movement of particles invested by the seismic waves. It allows you to create advanced mathematical models for the analysis of surface waves in environments with different stiffness.
You can simulate the theoretical dispersion curve, which links velocity and wavelength. You can also perform spectral analysis and generate the phase velocity-frequency spectrum or wave number-frequency spectrum.
You can set the minimum and maximum frequency of research, minimum and maximum speed of research, as well as the speed range to consider in the analysis.
You can also define a preliminary model of the terrain through which it is possible to visualize the dispersion curve directly on the processed spectrum of velocity-frequency.
