Description
This is how it works:
1. Download the “eID Check” app for free. It can be used without login or registration.
2. Allow the app access to the camera and Bluetooth.
3. Select which proof you would like to check.
4. Your counterpart shows digital proof in the form of a QR code using the “ePassport” app. Scan this with the “eAusweis Check” app: This will show you the current data directly on your smartphone. By linking to ID Austria, the digital evidence is forgery-proof.
No registration in the app is required.
The Android operating system requires location sharing in order for Bluetooth to work. Your location data is not stored or processed by the “eAusweis Check” app.
The app is constantly being developed and new evidence will be added in the future.
