Elevation Gadget
The Elevation Gadget was designed to help you run programs and scripts more easily. With the latest version 2, it's looking fresh and can even be resized. If you're on Windows Vista, it'll get bigger when you undock it, and for Windows 7 users, there's a handy Size control for that.
New Command Box Feature
The coolest upgrade is the new command box. You can type commands right into it! Plus, if you drag a file into the box, its path shows up automatically. To run your command, just hit Enter or click on the Elevation Arrow graphic.
History Buffer for Easy Access
This command box isn't just smart; it remembers too! It keeps a history of 100 lines so you can quickly go back through what you've typed before. Want to scroll through your past commands? Just use the Up and Down Arrow keys! And if you want to clear everything in there, just tap the Escape key.
Explore as Administrator PowerToy
If you have the Explore as Administrator PowerToy set up, typing explore "" lets you launch the file manager for any drive or folder path that you put in. This makes managing your files super easy!
