It's worth mentioning that it can work both as a server and a client. To be more specific, it installs a Windows service that can send 24/7 ping requests, while also allowing simultaneous connections to a remote server.

The main window comprises information at a glance about the current connection, including the uptime and passed pings. The response time and outages are also logged, and relevant graphs are available for most of the parameters. In fact, the response time (minimum, maximum, average) is shown in a live graph, while its time-based evolution is logged separately.

And if you prefer seeing everything in a written report, EMCO Ping Monitor can save the data in PDF or HTML format, or print it directly on paper.

Hosts you monitor can be neatly organized into different groups. Aside from individual hosts, EMCO Ping Monitor can also keep an eye on entire ranges of IP addresses. The ping options can be altered, but the common configuration should suffice for many.

Other settings allow you to change the gateway configuration, modify the monitoring time intervals, and define the conditions that should stop or pause active monitoring, such as connection failures, connection losses, or exceeding outage limits. In such cases, EMCO Ping Monitor can be instructed to send you notifications via email so you can promptly respond to any issue that might occur. You can configure it to execute a command or a specific program.
