Description

ErrorTracker

ErrorTracker is a handy tool for keeping tabs on errors in your .NET Framework apps. Instead of relying on email clients like Thunderbird, which many services use, ErrorTracker offers a more focused solution to help you out.

How It Works

This software comes with two main parts: a server and a client. Each part has its own job to do. The server runs in the background, listening for any issues that pop up.

Setting Up the Server

Once you get it going, the Windows service will start listening on default ports—80 for HTTP and 443 for HTTPS. If those ports are busy, you can easily change them by tweaking the “Settings.cfg” file included in the setup package.

Configuring Settings

In that same settings file, you can also adjust things like the “User List” and “Project List.” But here’s a tip: it's safer to use the web interface for making changes to avoid any mishaps!

The Client Component

The client side of ErrorTracker allows you to kick off new projects and check out all events recorded based on your specific needs. You can even create folder trees to keep everything organized and neat!

Why Choose ErrorTracker?

If you're looking for an easier way to manage errors without getting lost in emails or other cluttered methods, ErrorTracker is definitely worth checking out! It simplifies your error management process so you can focus more on coding and less on chasing down problems.
