Formerly known as Calculator 2013 Lite, Expression Lite is a Metro app that contains a calculator with standard and advanced functions. It comes in handy when your built-in Windows Calculator is no longer working properly or if you're simply looking for a more stylish calculator with practical options.

This software product is trusted by Microsoft when it comes to the security aspect, so you can seamlessly download and install it from the Windows Store.

Expression Lite is wrapped in a large window with a dark appearance, where the only colorful buttons are C for clearing everything (C) and the equal sign (=). The tool's actually optimized for touch-supported devices and can be easily used when you're on the move.

You can type the buttons to send commands or press the corresponding keys on your keyboard. The expressions are fully shown in the output box, so you can add, subtract, multiply or divide multiple numbers before hitting the equal sign to find out the result.

It's possible to work with memory functions (MC, MS, M+, M-, MR), use positive and negative numbers (+/-), find out the square root (sqrt), absolute value (abs) or inverse (inv) of a number, raise a number to power (x^2, x^3, x^y), calculate factorial, modulo or random numbers (x!, mod, rand), as well as round numbers (round).

You can use the pi and e constants, along with trigonometrical (asin, acos, atan, sinh, cosh, tanh) and logarithmic (log10, ln) functions. Results can be shown in degrees (deg) or radians (rad).

The currently displayed number can be copied to the Clipboard. Although it's not possible to copy or save entire expressions to file, you can take a screenshot of the calculator to send to one of your installed Modern UI apps, then save it from there.

To sum it up, Expression Lite provides you with a clean and user-friendly environment for evaluating math expressions using standard and advanced operators. It's ideal for those looking for large, hard-to-miss buttons.
