Data is anything contained within a file, and can even be as simple as text. Moreover, you can include or exclude specific lines which include one or more target phrases. In case you know what source files contain, the application can extract a portion of text found in between two words you specify.

By default, the application outputs content in a different file for every one in the source. Output is only TXT, which rather questions practicality since the source is the same. Luckily, you can have all extracted content piled up in a large file, with options to specify separators, and name.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that Extract Data and Text from Multiple Text and HTML Files comes with good intentions, but you might have a bit of a hassle figuring out how to configure general rules. Supported file formats are rather disappointing, but it can save you some time because of batch processing.
