You would think that a peaceful fairy kingdom cannot possibly be the target of evil forces, but tragedy can strike at any time, in any place. Fantasyland, a wondrous realm inhabited by fairies, has seen its magic depleted, rendering all its inhabitants trapped.

It is up to you to save the day, as you solve various match-tree puzzles in Fantasy Quest, a fun, simple game that all players, but especially children, should find very enjoyable.

Your primary objective in Fantasy Quest is to create groups of three or more objects and destroy them, but this can be accomplished in a number of ways.

In the classic swap mode, you switch the positions of two adjacent objects in an attempt to create a line of three or more identical items.

In some situations, however, it will be more advantageous to play in Chain mode, as it gives you the capability to link numerous tiles, even if they do not form a straight line.

Lastly, in Group mode, you only need to find clusters of three or more objects and click on them.

By gathering various types of shiny pearls, you unlock each of the four fairy companions that have the power to assist you in certain situations. For example, they may remove individual items or destroy several tiles at the same time.

Fantasy Quest also includes some rather simple puzzle mini-games. They are nothing out of the ordinary but prevent the gameplay from becoming too repetitive.

As you may have guessed from the included screenshots, this title is mostly aimed at younger gamers, but there is no reason older players should not find it enjoyable, as long as the abundance of fairies is not an issue.

Fantasy Quest is a fun, simple match-tree game that will keep children occupied for a long time as they attempt to solve the numerous puzzles and, of course, save the fairies.
