FFView is a great tool for reading comics right on your desktop. But it doesn’t stop there! You can also use it to view regular images too. It has some cool features like fast prefetching, a 2-page mode that’s perfect for comic books, and even a magnifying lens. Oh, and did I mention it supports voice commands? Pretty neat, right?
But wait, there’s more! FFView lets you browse pictures that are tucked away in archives. Plus, it has built-in support for EXIF tags. If you’re into tech stuff, you’ll be happy to know that it's also scriptable!
The main window of the app shows an image list where you can easily browse through your pictures. Want to go fullscreen? No problem! You can view your items in a list or full screen as you prefer.
Navigating through your images is super easy. You can switch up the visualization mode and see thumbnails for each image. This makes finding and selecting what you want a breeze!
If you like customizing things, you're in luck! In the Preferences window, you can choose to remember menu options, set your zoom factor, and even adjust slideshow timing. Want to tweak the magnifying lens width or customize double-page alignment? FFView has got you covered!
