FileJet

Considering the many facets of maintaining a computer, it's inevitable to sometimes skip doing maintenance on certain parts of your system. This is referring to the software part, though hardware maintenance is just as important, if not even more so. Ensuring that your directories are all organized will benefit you in the long run, and monitoring your storage space is always worthwhile.

FileJet is a solution that seeks to provide users with a straightforward way to handle directory management duties. Owing to its directory size mapping functionality, users should supposedly have an easier time managing all the folders on their system, no matter how big or small.

There's very little to comment on the design of this application. In essence, this is as straightforward as you'll get, which some users will undoubtedly appreciate. There are no menus, options, or anything of the sort to configure, so the default experience is what everyone gets — for better or worse.

Upon selecting a directory via File Explorer, you'll be able to see all the folders and subfolders that inhabit it. To do that, the program shows the respective folder names, as well as their size, along with a form of visual representation to help users better perceive the space allocation of the selected directory. You cannot go to a folder or directory from the app, and there's no way to interact with anything — at least for the moment.

Unfortunately, the initial statement about the software's design also applies to its functionality. Other than being able to view the folders within a directory, there's really very little to do here. For smaller directories, the program's visual representation works decently, but for larger ones, where multiple, smaller folders are present, the visual representation, along with the on-screen information, things start to become illegible.

FileJet is a rather barren program, where its functionality offers very little to warrant downloading and installing the software.
