Game of Stones FOR MAC

Everything was going so well for poor Anton, a sorcerer’s apprentice learning the ropes, but when a simple magic exam takes a turn for the worse, he has to use his, frankly, limited abilities to find a way to return to his master.

If that sounds overly complex, the game itself is fairly simple, as it is a pretty straightforward match-3 adventure in which you have to destroy all the stones on the board using your wits, although a little bit of magic also gets thrown into the mix.

The time in which you complete a level is completely irrelevant in Game of Stones, as the only thing that matters is destroying all the tiles in as few moves as possible.

Naturally, you will face some challenges along the way, as each level comes with a specific set of rules that you must follow.

Although the rules are never the same, you will usually be punished for not destroying any stones with one of your moves. If that should happen, one or more rows are added to the board, and you have to start all over again.

While your magical skills may not be particularly impressive, you can use them to good effect in certain scenarios, and your spells recharge as you destroy more and more stones.

Game of Stones will probably not wow you with its visuals and special effects, but they are good enough for a simple match-3 game.

The soundtrack is simple and rather repetitive, although it never really becomes irritating.

On the whole, Game of Stones should be a fun experience for fans of match-3 games, but it does not stand out in any way and does not introduce any innovative gameplay elements.
