GamingHub is a cool Chrome extension that makes taking breaks more fun! We all know it's important to step away from the computer sometimes, right? Whether you're working on a big project or just need to clear your mind, getting up for a quick walk or even just looking out the window can really help. But let's be honest, sometimes that's not possible. So what do we do? We play games!

Quick Access to Fun Games

This is where GamingHub comes in handy. It takes over your new tab page and gives you easy shortcuts to popular Facebook games. You can jump straight into classics like Angry Birds, Farmville II, Candy Crush, and many more with just one click!

A Changing Selection of Games

The cool thing is that the game selection changes based on what's trending on Facebook. So if you ever get bored of the same old games, there's always something new popping up! Just click on a game shortcut, and it takes you directly to its Facebook page where you can start playing after logging in.

HD Backgrounds & Easy Search Options

The background features an HD photo that updates regularly, keeping things fresh. Plus, there's a search box at the top so you can quickly search Google (or Bing and Yahoo) while you're at it!

Convenient Features on Your New Tab Page

The right side of your new tab has buttons for accessing your Chrome apps, browsing history, and bookmarks easily. And if you find a background picture you love? You can lock it in place, so it doesn't change! There are also buttons to refresh it whenever you want something new.

Pitfalls to Consider

However, keep in mind that we did run into some issues while testing GamingHub. Some links—like those for Zynga Poker and Candy Crush—take you to pages that don't exist anymore. This makes the extension not as useful if those are your go-to games. It would also be great if we could customize our new tab page with our favorite games!
