People who use multiple agendas and consequently have numerous calendars could require a solution for synchronizing their events. Helping users synchronize their Google and Microsoft Outlook calendars, gCalendarSync offers a minimalist and efficient tool for keeping those calendar entries linked. It will provide a quick and efficient way of integrating the events stored in both the Google and Outlook calendars.

Featuring an accessible interface, gCalendarSync boasts a clean layout that provides easy access to all the parameters required for establishing a connection between the Google and Outlook calendars. Both novice and experienced users will be able to easily maneuver around its interface and set up the synchronization details.

The Google and Outlook calendars can be adjusted in terms of labels, but unfortunately, the application does not provide customizable images. The temporal interval for the synchronization can be selected using the on-screen controls and the application offers unidirectional and bidirectional synchronization methods.

Users will be able to define a custom synchronization frequency, by inputting the preferred time in the provided field. A custom Outlook folder can be used and people have the option of entering the required directory path.

Once all the settings have been configured, the application can remain hidden in the tray area and it will automatically perform the synchronization according to the user-defined parameters. Upon request, manual sync is also possible, by using the tray icon dropdown menu. However, demanding users might request more options for synchronizing only selected calendar dates / events.

This application will provide an easy-to-use tool that will help people maintain their Google and Outlook calendars in sync. It will offer them decent customization in terms of sync frequency and labels, but experienced users might not be satisfied with its limited degree of flexibility. For instance, it would have been helpful to also include a configurable selection of the dates / events which are to be synchronized.
