GeoGebra Portable has to do with one subject I never felt quite prepared to take on, mathematics.

Although not a fan of the subject, with this program, you can chart and visualize a series of expressions, geometric problems, and even calculus-related tasks, all of which would be more difficult to deal with were it not for some time of visual aid.

I don't think I have to point out the importance of actually knowing math to a more advanced level to get how to work with this app, I am sure, but what dazzled me in the first place was how easily integrated the app is with simple drag and drop solutions, ultimately creating a friendly interface for what may otherwise seem like complex problems and issues.

The idea here is, you can customize and visually represent plenty of geometrical and calculus-related problems. You can either have the data and create a virtual representation, or vice versa to test certain theories.

Right, so apart from being able to calculate all sorts of geometrical situations, adjusting shapes and their style, and executing various labeling procedures, I'd also say that scripting seems to also be a big part of the picture and that's something that will require your programming skills.

One thing that I haven't mentioned before is that in this particular variant, the application is fully portable, allowing any user to carry it on a stick and share the findings or even work together with others on any type of compatible machine.

It could prove to be a great aid in presenting certain mathematical problems in front of others, and in the end, it will not steal any space on your machine regardless, since once it is removed there will be nothing left behind.
