Gettumblr

Gettumblr is a lightweight and portable application that downloads images from Tumblr blogs, as the name implies. It can be effortlessly handled, regardless of the user's level of experience.

Since installation is not a prerequisite, you can just store Gettumblr on a USB flash drive or similar storage unit, and run it on any computer. You can keep the tool in your pocket whenever you're on the move.

Alternatively, you can just drop Gettumblr on the hard drive and run the executable file directly. What's more important is that the Windows Registry section does not receive new entries, and files are not left behind on the hard drive after program removal.

The interface of the utility is based on a common window with a plain layout. The "what you see is what you get" concept clearly applies to the app, as there are no other options available, aside from the ones shown in the main frame.

All you have to do is write the name of the Tumblr blog in question and specify how many pages you want to download pictures from. Gettumblr displays the corresponding links in the main application window right away.

The straightforward program requires a very low quantity of CPU and system memory, so it does not interfere with the runtime of other active processes. It has a good response time and gets links fast, without causing the operating system to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Although it is not very resourceful, Gettumblr delivers quick solutions when it comes to downloading images from Tumblr blogs.
