If you're a fan of Another Metroid 2 Remake (AM2R), you probably know that it got taken down by Nintendo because of copyright issues. Bummer, right? Now, the game can only be found in emulation modes, but just a heads up—using illegally downloaded ROMs is still considered copyright infringement.

What is Glenn?

Glenn is a cool tool made for those who have legal copies of AM2R. Its main job is to help port the Windows builds to other platforms like Linux, Android, and Mac. However, there's a catch: it won't work with the original version 1.1 or any YYC modes of the game. It only plays nicely with modified versions created by you or other community members.

How Does It Work?

The great thing about Glenn is its ease of use! First off, you'll need to create a ZIP archive of your self-made mod. Just so you know, if you're using GameMaker: Studio, you can go ahead and use that archive directly. But if you're working with UndertaleModTool, you'll have to make a ZIP yourself.

Creating Ports Made Easy

Once you've got your mod zipped up, just add it to the specific field in the app. Glenn will then whip up a new ZIP file for you. You can find this new file in the same directory as the application itself. This ZIP can be used with specialized tools like Atomic.
